Reo Speedwagons Bruce Hall Dead At 71

REO Speedwagon’s Bruce Hall Dead at 71

Kevin Cronin, fellow REO Speedwagon bandmate, took to Twitter on Saturday to break the news about the loss of 47-year bandmate and friend Bruce Hall.

The singer, guitarist, and saxophonist died at 71.

Cronin mourned the loss of Hall, with whom he had played since the band formed in 1971, saying, “I’ve lost my best friend, my brother, the other half to my musical visions.

Although no cause of death was given, Hall had some health problems in the past.

In 2015, he suffered a heart attack which caused the band to delay their 40th-anniversary celebration tour dates.

After a rehab stint and regaining his strength once again, Hall rejoined his bandmates in 2016 and was inducted with the rest of the band into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that year.

Hall was a talented musician who could play several instruments, including guitar, saxophone, and keyboards.

He was also a gifted songwriter, and he penned some of REO Speedwagon’s biggest hits, including “Keep On Loving You” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling.”

His death is a major loss for the music world and his fans, friends, and family. He will be deeply missed by all.
