Eid-E-Milad Holiday Rescheduled

The Maharashtra government has rescheduled the Eid-e-Milad holiday in Mumbai. The holiday, which was originally scheduled for September 9, has been moved to September 18.

The decision was taken after the state government received requests from the Muslim community to reschedule the holiday. The community had requested that the holiday be moved to September 18 so that they could celebrate Eid-e-Milad on the same day as the rest of the country.

The Maharashtra government has also announced that Eid processions will be allowed to be taken out on September 18. The processions will be held in accordance with the guidelines issued by the state government.
